Camper & PAs

All campers and PAs take the bus to camp unless they are traveling with an adult volunteer.*

The bus stop is in Cedar Mill, near the Cornell Road exit off Sunset Highway.
For security reasons, we do not post the bus stop location on our website.
We will mail out bus information three weeks before the start of camp—please keep an eye on your mailbox!
If taking the bus will be difficult for your family (e.g., you live closer to camp than the bus stop), please contact our transportation coordinator at transportation@mountaindalenorth.org.
PAs may drive themselves and their siblings to and from camp with parental permission (contact the PA coordinator).

Morning Bus Schedule

Parent Drop-off: 8:15 a.m. - please do not arrive early as there will be nobody at the bus depot to supervise your child.
Buses Depart: 8:30 a.m. SHARP. We cannot hold the bus for late arrivals.

Afternoon Bus Schedule

Buses Depart Camp: 3:30 p.m.

Parent Pick-up: approx. 4:00 p.m. (time may vary due to traffic)

A camp volunteer will be at the bus depot by 3:45 PM to begin the camper checkout process before buses arrive.
Camper release from the buses is first come, first served.
Photo ID and camper pickup card are required for camper pickup.
ALL pickup persons must be listed on the camper release form.
Dismissal can take up to 15 minutes from the time the busses arrive at the bus depot. Please plan accordingly.

All volunteers drive to camp with their campers.*

Driving directions and parking instructions will be provided during Indoor Training and sent via email the week before camp.
For security reasons, we do not list the camp's address on our website.

Carpooling

Volunteers are welcome to carpool with each other to camp.
Volunteers may bring other people's children to and from camp with parental permission (see "Camper Release Form" below).

*Bus Chaperones:

Adult volunteers are needed to supervise the PAs and campers during the bus ride to/from camp.
If you are interested in becoming a bus chaperone, please email the transportation coordinator at transportation@mountaindalenorth.org.
Due to limited bus capacity, all bus chaperones must be approved by the Transportation Coordinator.

The Camper Release form lists the adults who are approved to pick up your child.

If you arrange a carpool for your camper, please add ALL possible adult drivers to the form.

Deadline for Changes

The deadline to make changes to the Camper Release is the Sunday July 12, 2026.
If you need to make changes to your child's Camper Release after the deadline, please email attendance@mountaindalenorth.org.
We ask that parents minimize last-minute changes to help us maintain smooth camp operations.
