So you want to volunteer?

Great! Mountaindale North Day Camp is completely staffed by adult volunteers and we cannot run camp without their help!

Thank you so much for considering volunteering at Mountaindale North Day Camp.  We could really use your help as an adult volunteer!  The number of  campers that we can enroll at camp is determined by the number of adult volunteers. Thus, the more adult volunteers we have the more campers we can accept.

Camper Discount

Mountaindale North offers a discount on camp tuition for children of full time volunteers, including siblings and boys. Children/campers of full time adult volunteers are guaranteed acceptance to camp.

Enjoy a Week at Mountaindale!

Most adults who volunteer at Mountaindale North love coming to camp each year. Whether you want to volunteer leading a unit (this is a great position for current troop leaders), or working in another area of the camp, we have a position that we know you will love! Many volunteers also make life-long friends here at camp. So come spend a week with us at our beautiful camp, and help us carry on the traditions of Mountaindale North!

“I have been volunteering at Mountaindale North since 2013 and I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite weeks of the summer. A week at Mountaindale North can be fun, relaxing (at times), and incredibly rewarding. Some of my best friends are women that I have met through Girl Scouts and volunteering at camp. My younger two daughters have been coming to camp since they were 3 years old in the Widget Unit, and they have grown to love their week at camp as much as I do!”
