Program Aides (PA's) are girls
entering 8th grade or higher who have completed Council or
Day Camp sponsored "Program Aide Core and Specialization Training".
Mountaindale North Program Aides are placed in units,
work with Unit Advisors to help plan the weeks activities for their
units, in order to provide a fun, happy and safe camping experience. PA
Specialist (PAS) are PA's who work with the whole camp and teach skills
such as, outdoor skills, hikes, nature, gimp, and songs under the
supervision of an Adult Advisor. All PA and PAS applicants will be
expected to have a personal interview with day camp staff to determine
proper Unit/Specialist Placement.
Program Aide Opportunities
Be a Leader
Attend the PA Overnight
Participate in Flag up & down
Be a Bus PA
Work with a Brownie or Junior Units
Work with the PAIT unit (must be approved by the PAIT
Leaders)
Be A PA Specialist
Be on the PA Committee, to help plan camp the following
year (9th-12th grade)

positions requested.
